1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing, browsing, registering an account, making a booking, making payment, or otherwise using this website and its services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you should discontinue use of this website immediately.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • "Company", "Sun-City", "we", "our" and "us" refer to Sun-City Travel & Tours Pte Ltd.
  • "Customer" refers to any individual, organisation, group leader, traveller, tour participant or entity making a booking through our platform.
  • "Travel Planner" refers to an approved independent affiliate participating in the Sun-City Travel Planner Programme.
  • "Supplier" refers to airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers, attraction operators, host operators, insurance providers, visa providers and other third-party service providers.
  • "Booking" means any reservation, quotation acceptance, payment, registration, purchase or travel arrangement made through the Company.

3. OUR ROLE

Sun-City may act as:

  1. Principal tour organiser for tours organised and operated by Sun-City;
  2. Travel agent acting on behalf of third-party suppliers;
  3. Marketplace operator connecting customers with approved Travel Planners and approved travel suppliers.

Certain services offered through our platform are supplied by independent third-party suppliers and are subject to their own terms and conditions.

4. ELIGIBILITY

  • You must be at least eighteen (18) years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts.
  • You agree to provide accurate, complete and current information for all bookings.
  • You are responsible for all bookings made under your account or name.

5. BOOKING CONFIRMATION

  • A booking is only confirmed when:
    1. required payment has been received;
    2. availability has been confirmed; and
    3. an official confirmation, invoice, voucher or ticket has been issued by the Company.
  • The Company reserves the right to decline or cancel any booking due to pricing errors, system errors, supplier restrictions, suspected fraud, regulatory requirements or operational reasons

6. AUTHORISED PAYMENTS

  • All payments for travel products and services must be made directly to Sun-City Travel & Tours Pte Ltd through authorised payment channels.
  • The Company shall not be responsible for any payment made to a Travel Planner, employee, host operator, third-party promoter or unauthorised bank account.
  • A booking shall only be deemed confirmed upon receipt of payment by the Company.

7. PRICING, TAXES AND PAYMENT

  • All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may include taxes, service charges and mandatory fees as specified.
  • The Company reserves the right to correct pricing errors, omissions or discrepancies before booking confirmation.
  • For customised tours, private tours, educational tours, MICE programmes and quotations valid beyond seven (7) days, prices may be revised due to:
    • currency fluctuations;
    • fuel surcharges;
    • supplier cost increases;
    • government taxes;
    • regulatory changes.

8. DEPOSITS AND BALANCE PAYMENT

  • Deposit and payment requirements vary depending on the travel product purchased.
  • Full payment is generally required no later than thirty (30) days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.
  • Failure to make payment by the due date may result in automatic cancellation.

9. CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.
  • Cancellation charges may apply based on:
    • supplier penalties;
    • airline fare conditions;
    • hotel cancellation policies;
    • administrative fees;
    • operational expenses already incurred.
  • No refund shall be granted for unused services after travel has commenced.

10. CHANGES AND AMENDMENTS

  • Any amendment request is subject to supplier approval and may incur additional charges.
  • Name changes, date changes, itinerary changes or room amendments may be treated as cancellation and rebooking.

11. CANCELLATION BY COMPANY

  • The Company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, combine, vary or substitute any tour, itinerary or service due to:
    • insufficient participation;
    • supplier cancellation;
    • safety concerns;
    • government restrictions;
    • force majeure events;
    • operational requirements.
  • Where appropriate, alternative arrangements or refunds may be offered.

12. MINIMUM GROUP SIZE

  • Group tours are subject to minimum participation requirements.
  • Where minimum group size is not achieved, the Company may:
    1. postpone the departure;
    2. combine departures;
    3. substitute services; or
    4. cancel the tour and refund monies paid.

13. REFUNDS

  • Refunds are subject to supplier approval and applicable cancellation policies.
  • Refund processing may take up to thirty (30) working days for refunds controlled by the Company and longer where supplier refunds are involved.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method where practicable.

14. PASSPORTS, VISAS AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Travellers are solely responsible for ensuring possession of valid:
    • passports;
    • visas;
    • transit visas;
    • vaccination certificates;
    • travel permits;
    • supporting documents.
  • The Company does not guarantee visa approval or entry clearance.

15. FLIGHT SCHEDULE CHANGES

  • Airlines may change schedules, routes, aircraft types, baggage policies or seating arrangements without prior notice.
  • Such changes shall not constitute a material change to the travel package and shall not entitle customers to compensation from the Company.

16. TRAVEL INSURANCE

  • Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travellers.
  • Customers are encouraged to obtain insurance covering:
    • medical expenses;
    • travel delays;
    • trip cancellation;
    • baggage loss;
    • emergency evacuation;
    • supplier insolvency

17. HEALTH AND FITNESS TO TRAVEL

  • Travellers are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to travel.
  • Any medical condition, allergy, disability, mobility limitation or special requirement must be disclosed prior to booking.

18. CUSTOMER CONDUCT

  • The Company reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any traveller whose conduct:
    • endangers safety;
    • disrupts the tour;
    • violates local laws;
    • causes inconvenience to other travellers.
  • No refund shall be payable in such circumstances.

19. EDUCATIONAL TOURS AND LEARNING PROGRAMMES

  • Participation in educational visits, cultural exchanges, school programmes, internships, university visits, workshops and learning activities does not guarantee admission, internship placement, academic recognition, certification, employment opportunities or future enrolment.

20. TRAVEL PLANNER MARKETPLACE

  • Sun-City operates a Travel Planner Marketplace and UU Travel Club platform.
  • Travel Planners are independent affiliates and are not employees, agents or authorised representatives of the Company.
  • Travel Planners are not authorised to modify official quotations, contractual terms, supplier arrangements or Company policies without written approval.
  • The Company shall not be bound by any unauthorised representation, promise or commitment made by a Travel Planner.
  • Customers acknowledge that certain tours may be promoted by approved Travel Planners under the Sun-City Travel Planner Programme.
  • All bookings, contracts, payments and travel arrangements remain subject to the Company's approval and administration.
  • Customers shall not directly engage, contract with, or make payment to Travel Planners for the purpose of circumventing the Company's booking processes.
  • The website may contain links to third-party websites. The Company is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, products or services offered by such third-party websites.

21. PHOTOS, VIDEOS AND MARKETING CONSENT

  • Unless customers notify the Company in writing prior to departure, photographs, videos, testimonials and reviews obtained during travel may be used for marketing, promotional, educational and social media purposes.

22. FORCE MAJEURE

  • The Company shall not be liable for any delay, disruption, cancellation, loss or damage arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
    • natural disasters;
    • pandemics;
    • war;
    • civil unrest;
    • government restrictions;
    • airline disruptions;
    • supplier insolvency

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the affected booking.
  • The Company shall not be liable for acts, omissions, negligence, insolvency, delay or failure of any third-party supplier.
  • The Company shall not be liable for any loss arising from the insolvency, bankruptcy, liquidation or cessation of operations of any airline, hotel, cruise operator, transport provider or other supplier.

24. CHARGEBACKS

  • Customers agree to first contact the Company to resolve any dispute before initiating a chargeback.
  • The Company reserves the right to recover any losses, penalties, supplier charges, administrative expenses and legal costs arising from improper or fraudulent chargebacks.

25. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • All website content, itineraries, photographs, logos, trademarks, videos, articles, brochures, software, graphics and marketing materials are owned by or licensed to the Company.
  • No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed or used without prior written consent.

26. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

  • Personal data shall be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
  • Customer information may be shared with airlines, hotels, suppliers, insurers, government authorities and service providers where necessary to fulfil bookings.

27. WEBSITE USE

  • Users shall not:
    • attempt unauthorised access;
    • interfere with platform operations;
    • submit false bookings;
    • upload malicious content;
    • use the website for unlawful purposes.
  • The Company reserves the right to refuse service, reject bookings or terminate customer relationships where fraud, abuse, harassment, unlawful conduct or misuse of the Company's platform is suspected.

28. TECHNICAL SYSTEM ERRORS

  • The Company shall not be liable for any interruption, delay, inaccuracy, pricing error, system outage, technical malfunction or website downtime resulting from maintenance, software failures, internet disruptions or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

29. CLAIMS LIMITATION

  • Any claim arising from a booking or travel service must be submitted in writing within fourteen (14) days of completion of travel.
  • No claim shall be accepted more than six (6) months after completion of the relevant travel service.

30. AMENDMENTS

  • The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
  • Any amendment shall take effect upon publication on the Company's website.

31. GOVERNING LAW

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
